ABOUT NIKOLA TESLA CLUBS

- History of NTC development ( 2014-2024 )

by NikolaTesla

Many years we were trying to find solutions in HOW TO INTRODUCE TESLA IN SCHOOL CURRICULUM. Than we created school program called NIKOLA TESLA CLUBS.

In 2004 when we started our organization, we named it ‘Nikola Tesla Inventors Club’ eventhough we didn’t have a lot of inventors and a lot more people were interested in Tesla’s life, philosophy and spirituality then in his inventions and science.

We changed the name to Nikola Tesla Club and it functioned until 2010 when we decided to change it to Tesla science Foundation.

We tried to find a way how to introduce Tesla into School Curriculum so we organized a couple of conferences with a theme ‘let’s build Tesla curriculum’.

After several conferences we have worked in schools in Philadelphia and Serbia, with Franklin institute and a large number of reputable organizations in USA and the world. We made a bilingual script for

school drama named ‘Tesla yesterday today and tomorrow’ and we are still working on the details of it, so it can be easily accepted in schools and be easily staged with minimal effort.

We did a lot of Assembly classes as well as Tesla visiting exhibitions and filmed videos in cooperation with Art Institute in Philadelphia.

AFTER THIS WE CAME TO THE CONCLUSION – starting Tesla Clubs in Schools, Universities and cities as the best solution and effect. We would use experience of our experienced committee to make a document that can be used by the whole world as a motivational program for children and people of all ages.

During our Nikola Tesla Clubs development our team was focused on cooperation with Tacony Academy Charter School within educational work through many steps such as:

1. Engineering / Having school assembly class performances in schools with professors volunteers ( Harry Oung ) and TSF team members ( Engineers & Teachers ). Through play and entertainment we were demonstrating Nikola Tesla experiments in safe and educational manner.

With the launch of the Tesla Assembly Classes students had access to cutting edge information and technology that will inspire them to be the greatest inventors they can be. Tesla Science Foundation and Ashley Redfearn Neswick did a wonderful work to build a brighter tomorrow through cultivating innovative spirits in the children of today!

2. New Tech & Fine Arts / We had involved professors who presented new technologies through augmented reality and specially designed Tesla posters, where through art & technology we have had come to a sigle-minded way to the doctrines of science. ( Bryan Yetzeer Studio ).

3. Engineering & Music Art / We also included THEREMIN musical instrument performances to demonstrate children the wireless transmission of energy. Mr. Mano Divine play theremin, special musical instrument that produce sound by electricity ( choosing some famous melodies ) and include children by demonstrating it-selves how sound can be produced with electricity.

4. Education & Drama / We also created ,,Teslas Past, Present & Future – a script for drama in which the students in the theater department would perform it. This script includes Nikola Tesla life & invention biography, with a message of inspiring young inventors to keep being ambitious and innovative in the future experiments. This is also a perfect way to gather children in new ideas and collective work.

5. Children Interaction / Our program would include various acitivities where the students would partake in various Tesle experiments to help other students better understand.

6. Community Nights / We have a traveling exhibition of Nikola Tesla life & Biography including highlights of the best works of the pupils, as well as award recognitions.

7. Program of Nikola Tesla Inventors Clubs/ A club for young innovators. The kids are divided into two groups: a group that asks the problem and the other group that offer solutions. By attending community night and competitions, students learn to examine what is similar to the market and what is reported in the patent office right off of the business plan ( depending on age ). That way, we achieve innovation programs and one day we will get new discoverers and scientists for our programs. This way, students are able to see what works best for them: innovations and presentation for the early stages. And all that based on Tesla patents and inventions.

8. Film about Tesla / Cinematography: We were preparing documentary about Nikola Tesla life as one more way of educating children within Tesla and inventions.

9. Taking part at PHILADELPHIA SCIENCE FESTIVALS/ For many years, just until the pandemic, we took a part in Science Festival by presenting TSF and Nikola Tesla Club achievements as well as new innovations for future work. Our team of engineers, teachers, artists and other members would present yearly exhibitions of inventions and arts within Nikola Tesla Clubs.

10. Taking part in FRANKLIN INSTITUTE – Education & Engineering within Tesla life and legacy. Our volunteers ( Engineers, Inventors  and Teachers ) would perform Nikola Tesla inventions and our new technologies within Nikola Tesla Clubs.

11. Tesla Talk TV / A platform and YouTube Channel – we created a platform and YouTube channel to keep our Nikola Tesla Clubs portfolio alive. There you can see our latest activities within Nikola Tesla Clubs as well as tho have educational material available.

12. STARTING A TESLA CLUB AT YOUR SCHOOL

How can you organize a Tesla Club at your School? How can the Tesla Science Foundation (TSF) help? The first step would be to introduce your students to Tesla’s life and work through classroom presentations or a school assembly, depending on the best fit for your school. TSF would bring a display made by Tesla Museum and TSF and lead the initial presentation.

After that, we will consult with interested students and faculty to prepare a mission statement and organize the club. We have a host of resources for helping you to expand your Tesla Club’s exposure and membership, including:

-A Play: “Tesla Past, Present, Future” for which we already have a script.

-Tesla Traveling Exhibit (obtained by TSF from the Tesla Museum)

-Organizing exhibits for arts, science, literary achievements, and the like (TSF would award medals and certificates for the best work).

-Community evenings could also be organized in partnership with TSF. We could have an exhibit of student work. In addition to students’ families, the school could be open to the community.

-Tesla Clubs would have an opportunity to be on Tesla Talk TV (TSF’s TV channel).

Additionally, student members could become TSF members, where the school clubs would be advertised.

-The best student work would be presented at our January and July Conferences in New York and Philadelphia, respectively.

-We can provide quizzes about the life and work of Nikola Tesla. The best students would get TSF participation certificates.
